Hi All,
Good day!
I would just want to ask if it is possible with vicidial to do file encryption when it is downloaded using ftp clients. Scenario will be, a user access the server through FTP clients then when they download/transfer the recording file to their PC they cannot play the downloaded recordings? Although when downloaded using the admin web page you can play the recordings.
Hope you can put your input on this. Cheers!

I think we're going to need more information on exactly what you are trying to achieve here.
FTP is just a transmission protocol, and it's not a part of Vicidial, so if you want FTPing of audio files to only be encrypted audio files, then the audio files need to be stored as encrypted on your server.
We don't have any built-in way of encrypting audio files in Vicidial, although several years ago we did write a custom solution for a client that used PGP to encrypt audio files on their archive server.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your reply, i also think that it is a matter of encryption method after the recordings will be transferred. I get your point and appreciate your feedback.
Thanks again. Cheers!
