We're in GIThub: https://github.com/goautodial

Check this HOWTO: http://goautodial.org/projects/goautodialce/wiki/GIThub on how to pull/get the latest GOadmin codes via GIThub.

Oh yeah. Thanks for that. We've also added some extra mysql commands needed for full functionality.

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) How did you test the repository? What was the result? (more detail than didn't work, of course, since that was the conclusion you drew after you saw the result ... not the result itself!)

This is not a git command. Where is the git command?
Version: 2.9rc1

This is the Vicidial Version, but does not include the Build.

You must include the Vicidial Version with Build. That's the "Bare Minimum".

All that being said, one of the earlier posts showed:
cd /usr/share/
git pull

Personally, I don't use Goautodial much, as we use Vicibox instead. When we use Vicibox, we use subversion for upgrades to Vicidial (which is the underlying software for all these, Vicidial is a predictive autodial system, Vicibox and Goautodial are merely Installers for Vicidial).

We only use git for programmers to keep track of minor code revisions internally.

For most things, GoAutoDial is about a year behind Vicidial, for some things they are over 2 years behind. The last changes they made were over 3 months ago.

If you want the most up to date and secure Vicidial code, you should use Vicibox to install and/or the svn/trunk code of Vicidial.

Matt is correct. Since GOautodial has different goals and roadmap from the Vicidial group. One of that is to make the system more user friendly and intuitive. To focus on the user experience and usability. To make a Vicidial based system easier to use and manage. That has been one of the goals since we first started as VicidialNOW (with your permission) circa 2006/2007. We still have a long way to go but the GOautodial open source project is actively being developed. Version 4 should be out 1st quarter of 2016.

Hi Gardo,

Nope, we have no intentions of moving the VICIdial open source project to github, we are very happy using subversion(svn).
