Carrier CDR consolidation

Postby Vince-0 » Thu Oct 01, 2015 3:58 pm

I'm trying to compare carrier CDRs with Vici because we have a way higher than normal bill (double the amount of live agents.)

I realise that the seconds may differ slightly for each call, especially because the Vicidial carrier trunk is connected via a FreePBX to get to the carrier (legacy reasons)
I'd like to sum the total length_in_min in vicidial_log table to get some indication of talk time from Vicidial.

Do I need to exclude inbound calls somehow?
How can I best consolidate CDRs with the carrier's?

Thanks,
Vin.

Asterisk CDRs have never been that accurate unfortunately. As for Vicidial, if you only want outbound calls, those are in the vicidial_log table, and inbound calls are in the vicidial_closer_log table.

Personally, I always fall back to the carrier log and take that as the final word.

By that time, I've already paid them--after all. ;)

edit:

and by carrier log, I mean the CDR reports pulled directly from my different carriers.
Otherwise I do also have an SBC that logs outbound calling, but not inbound :)
