MANUAL DIAL CID: AGENT_PHONE displays "asterisk"

Greetings!

in Campaigns, when I choose "AGENT_PHONE" in "3-Way Call Outbound CallerID", the agent's phone number displays on the phone called when doing a 3-way call.
but when I choose "AGENT_PHONE" in "Manual Dial CID", the word "asterisk" displays on the phone called instead of the agent's phone number when manual dialing or fast dialing.
How do i configure this so it would display the phone number?
