Custom Tables / Drop-down input

Postby marsisded » Fri Apr 15, 2016 1:12 pm

Hello, I'm new to the forums, I've been managing a vicidial call-center for close to 3 months now. I'd first like to say thank you to the mod's and helpful members who answer questions and keep the forums active.

My issue is that I'd like to customize my table entry fields as well as add several drop-down menu's similar to the default "Gender" entry. I've searched the purchased manager manual, and I've only found a way to disable/hide fields. Thank You.

Look at Custom List Fields, that will allow you to add any fields you want, and you can use drop-down lists, radio buttons, checkboxes and form entry fields.

Forgive me but, I've searched all over the admin panel and seem to have missed this tab or menu.

Go to Admin -> System Settings

Set the following option to "1":

Enable Custom List Fields -This setting enables the custom list fields feature that allows for custom data fields to be defined in the administration web interface on a per-list basis and then have those fields available in a FORM tab to the agent in the agent web interface. Default is 0 for disabled.

Then go to Lists and you can add Custom List Fields

So, I've been trying to add the custom fields, unfortunately I'm receiving this error "MySQL connect ERROR: Access denied for user 'custom'@'localhost' (using password: YES)". Is there a field for inputting mysql user data? This is the first time I've received this error.

You should make sure that the astguiclient.conf values for the custom user are set, and that they are granted in MySQL

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method (7.X.X?) and vicidial version with build (VERSION: 2.X-XXXx ... BUILD: #####-####).

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "manual/from scratch" you must post your operating system with version (and the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system) plus a link to the installation instructions you used. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600
