You do not have permission to view this page??

I've just followed the scratch install and I believe it all went well Anyway when I log-in to the admin.php with 6666 pass=1234 I can see all the tabs and modify some stuff except.....

I can't modify servers, systems settings,conferences,users,can't view reports, lists and a bunch more??? I get You do not have permission to view this page

Can anyone point me in the right direction?? Thanks

Purchase the Manager's Manual from www.eflo.net

it will help you understand what you are doing.

Modify the admin user's settings and under the 'Admin Interface Options' set everything to '1'. The admin user you create by following the scratch_install is not allowed to do everything.

Hi everyone

i know this post is old but i have a similar problem, I created a new user and deleted all the other users and while creating i didn't change any values at the bottom of the 'page but user level is 9. after logout and loging in as new user i am unable to change even user setting or add new user it says "you do not have permission to view this page". any suggestions or do i need to reinstall (its a fresh installation through vicibox7 iso on dedicated server).

If you have access to your database you can modify the values for your user in there directly, just change modify_users in asterisk.vicidial_users to 1 where user = 'your_admin_user' After that you should be able to get in to modify users with your admin account and from there you can fix whatever else is necessary... Also you may want to post your Asterisk Version/Vicidial Build/Installer etc. before williamconley yells at you

I am reaching out here to request an assistance with an issue with about the Vicidial admin page. I am unable to access or view any sections, whether it's related to groups or users. when I attempt to access certain things or anythin, I am seeing the message: "I do not have permission to access this page.also I've already checked the databases via PHPMyAdmin, but the problem still the same, & I am still unable to access the required things?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
