Vicidial not showing in browser....

Postby albtech » Wed May 11, 2016 12:35 pm

I have just instaled Vicibox 7.0.1. The server is installed succesfully but when I try to open it from the web it only shows "It works".

Can you help me to solve this issue?

1) Why use 7.0.1 when 7.0.2 is available? Too lazy to burn the later CD? For Shame! LOL

2) You should not be surfing to the web root. You should add /vicidial/welcome.php to the URL

3) If you had chosen to install the web forward during the vicibox-install, that page would have "bounced" you to the /vicidial/welcome.php page.

When I try to install vicibox from cli it shows this error : "Failed to start MySQL: 256 at /usr/local/bin/vicibox-install line 242, <STDIN> line 10. "

vicibox-install

ViciBox v.7.0 Installer

The installer will ask questions based upon the role that this server is
to provide for the ViciBox Call Center Suite. You should have the database
and optionally archive servers setup prior to installing any other servers.
The installer will not run without there being a configured database! If this
server is to be the database then it must be installed before the archive server
Verify that all servers are connected to the same network and have connectivity
to each other before continuing. This installer will be destructive to the the
server if it is run.

Looks like this is no longer a joke. You should be using the latest installer.

Also: use the expert mode. Answer ALL the questions.

Probably a good idea to post your motherboard model number (and the year it was released, if available). There could be a driver issue. (In that case, you could also try installing with GoAutoDial's .iso installer ... it's an older version of Vicidial but works just fine as long as you don't want to Cluster!)

Thank you for responding.
Now it is installed and working but there are some problems:
1- Show Campaigns | Add A New Campaign | Copy Campaign | Real-Time Campaigns Summary are missing
2- Phone Code Override are missing too

Any idea how to fix this issues?
thank you in advance

You should upgrade to the latest SVN version. This was an issue with the new layout changes that has been fixed.
