[solved] Calls Today Counter Would not reset and other issue

Hello

I am new to the forum but pretty much old in the industry. I scratch installed alot of servers lately last week and i am having multiple issues

Scratch Install from Ray Solomon/ Striker 24/7 was followed.

Running Centos 6.7, Intel 1240v3 or 4770, 16gb or 32g ram, 2x240gb ssd, scratch installed, ulaw, VoIP, VERSION: 2.12-558a
BUILD: 160602-1450

Dahdi 2.9.1.1, Libpri 1.4.15 and Asterisk 1.8.23 is being used

1. Calls today counter in the Realtime report won't reset automatically. Ran Perl command and checked crontab, all in place. It would show real calls made today in agent report though but in real time report it wont show

Call count would also show from one single date too

and today is 13th, showing from 9th.

Reports are technically not working properly

2. Counter on the main page aswell won't work.Total Stats for Today nor yesterday, none would work but says No activity for today

3. In Admin > System settings, it shows SVN Version: 0

Just to let you know, all other functions are working perfectly, calls are being made. same installation has been used for Cluster and it all works. Calls are made perfectly, recordings are converted, mysql and everthing works like a charm.

In System Settings, is your "Active Voicemail Server" set to a valid server on your cluster?

Be it Single server or Clustered Server's, i am having same issue since both are installed via same manual and guide. you wanna have look at the server? and no its not activated yet.

Active Voicemail Server is a setting under Admin->System Settings. Has nothing to do with "activation".

thank you for the response

I have not chosen any server for the voicemail server on cluster server.

any ideas for the single server's having issue with the reports and stats?

OK: I see you're not quite putting this together, so I'll spell it out for you:

You MUST choose a server for the voicemail server to resolve your problem with reports and stats. We were not asking about that because we were taking some sort of poll about voicemail servers, LOL 8-)

I had no idea that voice mail server and sound server can impact stats. On older version, they ain't selected yet stats work properly and they seem to start working after midnight after I made changes. It works, thanks to mflorell and Williamconley

Any idea why does it show SVN Version: 0 ?

We changed the way that the stats were generated earlier this year, both to make it A LOT more efficient, as well as add some new features. The side effect was that the Voicemail server was the one server that all of those stats were generated on. The "Voicemail server" does a lot more than voicemail, and making this change has actually helped to more quickly diagnose a lot of other issues on client systems.

As for SVN version appearing as 0, that can happen if the install.pl script is not run, or when it is run if there is no database connection.

I did run /trunk/install.pl and the db connection was there too since the DB user and pass were also made default and fields were left default too while installation

Hi,

I am also quite new to vicidial.

I am having the same issue as the OP. I have now changed my voicemail server to the correct server but my stats are still not displaying correctly.

The 8 Day outbound call count is showing all calls made over a few days within 1 day. Also when viewing the Real-Time Main Report, the individual agent call count will not reset each day. It is showing total calls made from when the server was built.

If someone could shed some light on this, that would be great!

Did you restart and set your servers to reload their dialplans after you made that change?

I set my Active Voicemail Server and then done a reboot.

What do you mean by reload the dialplans? Sorry I'm quite new to this.

In System Settings you can force a dialplan reload for all servers. You set the option to "1" and submit.
