vicidial remote agent

HI, I have been reading the vicidial manual and I was able to setup a remote agent sucessfully but in order to be able to access to the http://server-ip/vicidial/vdremote.php, I had to change the user level from 1 to 6. and if not it doesnt work. Is this the correct procedure ?

I"m guessing it is based on this (which hasn't changed in several years):

User Level -This menu is where you select the users user level. Must be a level of 1 to log into the agent screen, Must be level greater than 2 to log in as a closer, Must be user level 8 or greater to get into admin web section.

Level 1 can only log in as an agent on the agent screen. I'd guess somewhere between 2 and 8 remote agent page becomes possible. If you test it and find out, perhaps a note in the issue tracker to update the help blurb would be appropriate. (Did you check the Vicidial Manager's Manual for this information?)

Thanks your reply. I got the info of how to setup a remote agent on the vicidial manual, but the manual doesnt make any reference on change the user level in order to be able to login as remote agent. That part ,I figured it out for myself

In which case, I'd suggest you test it as best you can and open an Issue in the Vicidial Issue Tracker to update the Manual and the Help Text to clarify the user level requirement. It may not get updated for several months, but it will eventually. And it'll help the "next guy".
