Hello
When i try install vicidial repo in a new and fresh installation it show me this error

in this step

mkdir /usr/src/astguiclient
cd /usr/src/astguiclient
svn checkout svn://svn.eflo.net:3690/agc_2-X/trunk

it get me this error

svn: 'svn://svn.eflo.net:3690/agc_2-X/trunk' isn't in the same repository as 'svn://svn.eflo.net'

i think that link is down or server
ive been trying for the last week and it says the same
please help with this

Why are you performing this step manually? Installation is best handled via Vicibox.com's .iso installer. This installer has a PDF showing how to use it, and none of those instructions require that you manually enter svn commands.

So I'm guessing that you are following some sort of manual installation instructions, which you got from ... somewhere, but did not include them in your post. Probably a good idea to share a link to the instruction set you're using. There are several, some are better than others ... but I don't even know that this is what you're trying to do so I'll stop now. LOL

im using ray-solomon scratch installation

on vps server using centos 6.5
that instructions have some mistake but i solved those things incorrect and after that
Ive done this scratch installation a lot of time with successful installation
but after one or two week ago
that vicidial subversion on eflo.net stop working and give the error i posted above
is not working or it was changed

normally is working

what you think i should do to install it from scratch??

1) Virtual is a bad idea. But you're (i'm sure) aware of this
2) Virtual does not mean "scratch install". You can still install from an .iso installer with most virtualization platforms, as long as you can upload the .iso

I got the same issue.

i was trying to update my vicidial, it work before but not now.

cd /usr/src/astguiclient
svn checkout svn://svn.eflo.net:3690/agc_2-X/trunk

it says :
svn: 'svn://svn.eflo.net:3690/agc_2-X/trunk' isn't in the same repository as 'svn://svn.eflo.net'

PD: when i do the same process using vici7, ViciBox_v.7.x86_64-7.0.3.iso, it works perect.

after you have checked out the repository the first time, you do not need to check it out again. you need to update this time.

Hey! You posted your installer with version, your Vicidial version with Build, and you posted precise details of your problem (technical!). I like to reward that behavior ... plus:

The entire purpose of this forum is to provide that exact level of support. The information which you sought was sitting here in my brain doing nothing, you made it easy for me to identify what you needed and *poof*, you got it.

Now: Stay around and answer ANYTHING you can for a few other guys. I'll let you in on a secret: As you do that, you'll learn more. Don't get me wrong, the Vicidial Manager's Manual is marvelous, but answering questions on this forum is the best method of learning Vicidial, by far!

True enough.

But in his case, he did not need to "check out", as that had already been done. He merely needed up update.

"svn up" does not "check out", and "checkout" can not be performed in a folder that is already under svn control. Just sayin' ...
