Vicibox 7.0.2 from .iso | Vicidial 2.12-557a Build 160517-1927 | Asterisk 11.21.2-vici | CLuster setup: 1 web 1 DB 5 telephony | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

Vicibox 6.0.4 from .iso | Vicidial 2.12-538a Build 160122-1401 | Asterisk 1.8.32.3-vici | CLuster setup: 1 web 1 DB 5 telephony | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation
Here is my situation:
We have a few agents that are using the softphone to be able to call numbers that are marked as DNC within vicidial and now we are being sued by the person being called. Is there a way to disable the ability to call out from zoiper or xlite (we use both) using the prefix that is displayed on the manual dial page? Or even eliminated where it displayed the prefix on that page? We changed the prefixed on our carriers then realized that it was advertised as this on the manual dial page... "Enter information below for the new lead you wish to call. Note: a dial prefix of 5 will be added to the beginning of this number."
any assistance is greatly appreciated!!

Can you please explain a little bit more... if you want to disable completely dialing from soft phone by agents or you just want to stop DNC numbers dialing from soft phony by agents.

Agents can dial directly from their softphone using the correct prefix and dial pattern set on your carrier configuration it is normal behaviour. What you could do is restrict the outbound calls based on the Caller ID Because usally if agents dial directly from their phone caller id passed would be the agent phone caller id number, assuming (sendrpid = yes) is set.

i thought about that but the only problem is that when they make a manual outbound call from the agent UI the CID is that of their direct inbound number. We have a kinda unconventional method for our closers which entails them having a direct inbound number that is routed to their softphone instead of using the agentdirect ingroup so the CID is set to their individual number. Another thought i had was to change the prefix and then they wouldnt know what to put in front of the phone number in the softphone but when you manual dial through the agent UI it tells you what the prefix is so that wouldnt work either

Just change the phone's config: phone context option to a non-existent context like "agent-nodial" - that way they have to use the agent page to place calls and so follow campaign rules.

thank you ... adding "agent-nodial" to the phone context field works perfectly! Many many Thanks!
