Error on boot after fresh install (UPDATED)

Hello guys, after a fresh install everything boot normal, once i do:

zypper fresh
zypper up -y

diring next boot i get next error and can't boot anymore

Assuming drive cache: write through
Asking for Cache data failed

It seem you have a disk failure

3rd SSD disk swapped

I think it is mostly a problem with the RAID, and it happens AFTER i UPDATE everything, before, it just stays cool and happy like a fat man in an all you can eat place

i got whole server chaged, as well the SSD disk used in RAID were changed and i can replicate issues as many times as i want as long as i "zypper up"

To me, update causing issues or may be incompatibilities with an update and hardware

I have re-installed like 5 times, and i am sure i can replicate issue again, but i am not that masochist, lol

This smells like an initrd update failure.

You see, when doing zypper up -y, maybe the kernel gets upgraded.

When the kernel gets upgraded, some script kicks in and regenerates /boot/vmlinuz* and /boot/initrd*.

This happened to me before. The path to your disks get incorrectly updated and you can not boot.

In Grub's boot menu, do you have 2 or more boot entries? Can you see your old kernel? If you see it, can you boot it?

If that is the case, then you need to correct your disk path in some of the files in /boot. I do not know by heart how to do it, but if you confirm that you can boot with the older kernel, i can try to help you.

i have asked the people at data center just to remove raid and additional SDD, now it works without a problem

And with initial entry there i can boot and work as normal...

As of right now i am re-installing everything again
