hey everyone!
everything is working great with the dialer in manual mode except for the fact that it displays an error "dial timed out - please contact your system administrator" and continues to display "waiting for ring" and no live call even when there is someone on the line.
i am thinking it is also the reason i cant get the autodialer to work either. again - the calls are being connected and there are voices on the line - calls can be dispositioned, etc. but i dont believe its detecting that the calls are live.
suggestions?

Check that AST_update.pl is running and that you have the "o" flag in your Dial command.

Hi guys,
I'm new to vicidial and I encountered the same issue.
Based on the suggestions above, where can I find/check the AST_update.pl and which file can I add the "o" flag?
Also give me an idea where to locate the sip.conf as well? Thanks.
