Can I play a custom sound during "Drop Call Seconds"?

I see dialplan but Background() and Playback() seems not work: "Drop Call Seconds" time start after play sound

Nope, won't work that way, that will just delay routing of the call.

There is currently no option to do what you want to do, other than dropping the call to an in-group immediately and using music-on-hold, but that could lead to load issues depending on your call volume.

This can be a new feature?

Italian privacy rules requires a background sound of "talking people" during "Drop Call Seconds".
Customers must understand that the call is from a call center during "Drop Call Seconds".

I would suggest trying dropping the call to an in-group and see how that works for you.

As MFlorell says: Set the Drop Call Seconds to Zero ... then set the action to drop the call to an ingroup. Put the audio you want as MOH for that ingroup and set the drop call seconds for that ingroup to the appropriate value for the "real" drop call seconds.

Technically, no. But if you want to continue to segregate the calls by campaign, then yes. You could create a single Ingroup, assign it to ALL agents regardless of campaign, etc., but then all the calls would be in one Ingroup and you have essentially lost the ability to control them separately. If that's good for you, you only need one ingroup. 8-)

I've set
drop call seconds: 0

but the audio I choose is listen after 10 seconds

In-group setting:

No Delay Call Route -Setting this to Y will remove all wait times and audio prompts and attempt to send the call right to an agent. Does not override welcome message or on hold prompt settings. Default is N.

Have you tried doing it without AMD?

We don't recommend using AMD anyway due to it's inaccuracy rate and that you can have as much as 30% false-positives of humans flagged as machines.

You mean with the routing exten 8368?
If so yes and still the voice play after seconds.
Also I've tried with the default music and still same issue

there should be an "agiout.2016-04-25" file in there, and if there isn't you should make sure that you have the server's "AGI Output" set to BOTH, and then try a new call.

The problem is that if you set Drop Call Seconds to 0, the system thinks it is unset, so it will default to 9 seconds. Try changing it to '-1'.

This reduces the time but the voice ever start after few seconds.
I have to setup only the ingroup - Music On Hold Context field, right? not the welcome message

correct. The welcome message is blocking, meaning that the call can't be sent to an agent while it's playing, so using Music on Hold only is better.

I have another question but I think this is the wrong section.
When a customer in wait close the call, in my agent vicidial web interface i see the red write "call in queue=1". If the customer close the call and an agent become available, the close call is passed to that agent anyway. How can I avoid this?

A call will not go to an agent if the customer has hung up. The AGI script will terminate as soon as the customer hangs up. Although, we have seen carriers that delayed the sending of the hangup signal, and there is nothing we can do about that.

When I test this configuration, sometimes i hear the moh after 3 seconds and sometimes after 5-7.
Also i hear a "ding" when I answer and after 3 - 7 seconds i hear the moh.
Is there any way to disable this "ding" sound? Why this gap between the ding and the moh?

I looked through the code and put the log events into context:

Looks like it took 1 second for your carrier to start sending audio(Local/ channel resolution), it took a little over 1 second to update the vicidial_log and vicidial_list tables, it took 1 second to play the ding and launch the inbound process, then there is a minimum of a 2 second delay in MoH starting so that the call can try to route to an agent right away, this also reduces load on busy systems. That delay is increased by 1 second if options like estimated hold time, hold time features, wait time features or play place in line are enabled.

Music on hold seems to be starting and stopping every 3 seconds in your example, which is horrible, you should probably raise the On Hold Prompt Interval up to 60 seconds, you had said earlier you set it to 1.

MoH is not designed to be started right away, this is due to the inbound process trying every quarter-second to find an agent to send the call to during the first two seconds. After that is over, then it will start MoH.

Other than making some major programming changes, you could speed everything up by, rolling your logs, reducing the number of leads in vicidial_list, and manually commenting out where the 'ding' audio file is played in the outbound process.

It's a load consideration. For most call centers, most calls are answered quickly, and starting up music on hold for 1-2 seconds adds a lot of load to the server compared to leaving it in silence as it tries to find an agent. Then after a couple seconds if no agent is found, it will start MoH. I'm sure this delay could be removed, but it would take some work to do it properly.
