Time Clock

Postby meritusllc » Tue Jun 22, 2010 5:25 pm

I am trying to keep track of agents hours through the time clock function on vici. Is it possible to have the system automatically clock them out automatically every time they log out of the web client? It shows the agent logging out but it is not logging them out of the time clock. I know that I can do a forced time clock clock out, however I keep them dialing until different times each day so that would not help.

No, the agent has to clock out of the timeclock manually, there is no auto-clock-out based on agent vicidial logout function.

I'm sure we could add this and it does sound like a good feature request to add to the tracker.

I've added this to the tracker:

Right now it's a lot of steps for agents to logout of ViciDial and logout of the timeclock application. My suggestion to simplify the process:

-Show a 'logout of timeclock' link on the page the agent gets to see when they log out of ViciDial (right now it only shows a 'click here to login again' link)
-Once the agent logs in through the timeclock do not ask them for the username again when clicking the agent login link (after logging in with phone ext)
Regards, Dennis

We do have a client that added an "auto-submit" function to the agent re-login screen so the pre-loaded inputs are submitted automatically if all conditions are met. (This on a popup screen generated by SugarCRM, of course, so the agents do not even need to know their vicidial logon information ... they just push a button in SugarCRM and *poof*, they're logged in with a new window in Vicidial as an agent)

I was just wondering if this was ever made a thing?

Nope, that's not currently a feature.
