24 seat hardware

I need suggestions for a 24 seat server . I have two options :

1) Single Processor Quad Core Xeon 5310- 1.6 GHz ( or Dual Core Xeon 5130 2.0 GHz also available)
2 GB RAM
2x250 GB SATA drive ( raid 1 )

2) One pentium 4 3.0ghz 1 gb ram server doing mysql + apache .

and one Core2duo e6600 with 1 GB ram and 160 GB ( raid 1 ) sata drive doing vicidial+asterisk .

All calls will be recorded . I think both configurations should be good enough for 24 agents but i need recommendations .

you can do both, i also worked out 24 seats, all recordings on one server... core2duo with 2GB ram and Sata drive. and automatic transfer recordings to another server/pc.

with 24 ports fxs channelbank. i think it will minimize load rather than using softphone.
