Need help how can i recover my system free install vicibox 6.0 got an panic occurred, switching back to text console.. after i do zypper up -y then reboot the system.. error appears.. can can you help me please/...

Get a backup made if it will run. Then get that backup OFF the server. Then build a new one and trash this one.

Of course, there is still "repair the system", but that is not a Vicidial question and would require a screen shot of "the error" (or a photo since the OS probably won't let you take a screen shot). There are a freakin' heck of a lot of things that can cause kernel panic.

Thank you sir for reply.. i made a new install.. vicibox 7.. but i have also a problem on my digium card tp410m cant install got an error

when you perform the initial install, the card must already be in the box. usually the installer detects it and properly configures it.

Which means the system didn't recognize the card. You should have made sure the card was *in* the box during OS-Install, even before the vicibox-install. This ordinarily results in a clean installation with much less headache.

Otherwise, you have to find the instruction set for getting the server to recognize the existence of the card before anything else. This has been covered many times in the forums. You can also contact the manufacturer for instructions (as this interaction with Asterisk happens before anything involving Vicidial can happen).

When *we* install a sangoma or digium card, we prefer having the card in before OS installation and letting automation take over and reduce the likelihood of operator error.

Sir.. i the card is put on box upon installation.. but still card not install on server.. thank you for advise i will contact support of the digium card.

Considering that Digium Owns Asterisk, it's a fair bet that their hardware should work fairly well. After it works with Asterisk, getting it to work with Vicidial is fairly easy.

Sir my dahdi , digium card is installed already and working,, I made manually start the service dahdi start and module chan_dahdi.so.. My problem now is how can run on startup the dahdi... Because when restart my system dahdi will not run.. need to start again and load the module.
