ViciDial Integration with Facebook and Twitter

Hi,

Please let me know the method to integrate social media applications like facebook and twitter with Vicidial. I am using Vicidial 7.0 with CRM version 2.12. Does Vicidial support this? I really need it. Please assist.

No, VICIdial does not support this.

Facebook and Twitter are proprietary services that do not have open APIs. They can terminate your account for no reason anytime they want, and Facebook in fact terminated all API integrations back in 2014 for no reason, then came out with a new and more restrictive API a year later. What we have discovered is that you can spend months developing a connection to one of these services, but if you don't spend a significant amount of money in advertising on the account you are using, they will eventually terminate your API account access at some point. Be warned.

I actually want, when customers open our website, they have the option to chat with vicidial live agents. Is there any API for chat purpose with vicidial?

Yes we have a built-in website customer chat feature, you just have to enable it in System Settings. More details here,
