Stuck on waiting for ring?

Hello Matt, everyone!

Lately I've been experiencing the following problem: People can dial just fine, alt phones and everything, but at times when they try to dial a number they get stuck in "waiting for ring .... 1seconds" and the channel remains taken even though there is no one on the other side and no ring tone is given. The sad part about this is that the lead cannot be dispo and the only way out is clicking on logout to take the next call.

I am using:

astguiclient 2.0.4b0.5
asterisk 1.2.19
asterisk-perl 0.8

Campaign is in MANUAL dial mode.

Any ideas why this might be triggered?

This can happen with numbers that do not fit the dial plan, such as 312-123-45678 since the 4th digit cannot be a 0 or 1 in most dialplans, because the number does not attempt to dial, it cannot continue.

If the agent is hearing ringing then it is another problem.
