You use the remote agent setup to achieve broadcast dialing without real agents present to take calls. There are also many legal restrictions on this kind of calling, and it is illegal for most sales purposes.

Actually i want to transfer the calls to another ACD after the caller press # to talk to agent. Vicidial will only be used for dialing and broadcasting.

By configuring remote agents will be able to do predictive dialing? i need to dial 200 simultaneous calls.

Yes, remote agents can do that if properly configured, and yes, you can do predictive dialing. As for 200 concurrent calls, you would need a big server to do that without issues.

200+ calls on a single server using G729 will be tough, you will have to record all messages in G729 audio codec to reduce on transcoding, and you will be limited in the number of agents you can have on the machine due to the transcodding.
