Vicidial Calls Dialing going up and down

Hi,

we have 25 agents setup with Press 1 Campaign type of system where customer listen the recordings and then press 1 and then calls is routed to agent logged into ingroup.

The issue we are facing is that number dialed are going up and down,

the settings are

Dial method = Ratio

Dial level = 70

Agents Logged in = 25 (remote agents vicidial)

Calls dialed = 1200 around

Ideally it should be = 20 X 70 = 1400 numbers

So what factor ares involved in deciding to dial these numbers in ratio mode?

First off, that is WAY too many calls for what I assume is a single machine. You can expect to get about 150 simultaneous calls out of a single dialer. You'd need 10 dialers to achieve 1400 calls.

To answer your question, it depends on other settings in VICIdial. What do you have set for these campaign settings:
Auto Dial Level Threshold
Available Only Tally
Available Only Tally Threshold

Also, how many lines do you have the server set for? And when you mention remote agents, do you mean simply agents working from home or are you using the VICIdial feature Remote Agents?
