Why would VDXL show up in the 'Closer' column within vicidial_xfer_log?

That's VICIDIAL's way of saying the call never made it to a closer.
It's a default code used instead of leaving it NULL

It is almost always customer-hangup call dropped, but if you have a lower drop timeout it can also be your system hanging up on the customer.
