Hi,
What is maximum acceptable ping time for having a remote asterisk servers in a cluster
Eg. have a db in la + 1 dialer in la + 1 dialer in sf
DB in la ----- 1ms ping ------ Dialer in LA
DB in la ------ 15ms ping ------DIaler in SF
Dialer in la ------15ms ping -------Dialer in SF

There is no maximum limit, it's all a matter of how much delay is added to everything going to/from the dialers and DB servers and how much of that delay is acceptable to you.

What about a delay of 25ms?
Would that be considered too much for a dialer (used for agent + dialing) to be from a db server (also acts as the web server)?
From maximum limit, I am referring to the fact that the system is still usable without noticeable delay...

The system should be usable like that, but I have not done any tests, so you'll have to see after you set it up.

So tried this today. Works flawlessly for now. I will run it for a few more days to see if it starts to get any worse or any new bugs or issues crop up.
