Increasing the size of a partition is often risky. Plus it requires that the HD still have available unpartitioned space. If that HD is an 80G HD, you can't make the partition any bigger since it's all partitioned already. But if that HD is larger than 80G ... yes you can enlarge the partition. This would be outside the realm of Vicidial (and still risky, be sure you get a good backup OFF the server before you attempt anything like this).

You could put a new HD in, copy everything from the data drive into the new HD, and then mount the new HD where the data drive is presently mounted. Then you'd have more space (assuming your new HD is bigger than 80G, of course). Be sure you are NOT running mysql during the copy and be sure that when you are done everything is exactly where it was on the original HD.

You could also turn off the mysql binary log after purging the binary log records, which may buy you some time to get to the weekend and change drives. If you have room for an extra drive in the server, you could play some other games with mounting the drive in a specific spot to enlarge the space available in that folder, but I don't know how many bays you have available.
