How to define Firewall Configuration Interface?

Postby rameez.amjad4 » Mon Nov 19, 2018 1:09 pm

I want to know How to define Firewall Configuration Interface?

I have 2 Ethernet cards in my server and on one Ethernet card its connected to local networking and one Ethernet card is connected to router from which its connected to internet and is being used for dialing.

Do i have to define zones for these two interfaces? if yes then what zone should i assign to each interface

eth0 => Connected to local network for agents to access dialer / server
eth2 => Connected to router connected to internet and being used for dialing.

Please update which zone should i assign to each interface?

Thanks.

be careful not to check the box or select the option "protect from internal interface" or however they've worded it recently. That would make the internal the same as the external.
