I am having issues with scaling asterisk past 400 calls (120-130 concurrent active ports) on an E5-2630 v3 server (2 processors) + 64gb ddr4 + Intel OPTANE 250gb PCI SSD.

The load on servers is less than 5-6. Or 20% across all cores.

Mysql is doing around 1k qps.

I can't figure out what is breaking down here. Can anyone help?

Why do I NOT see the Vicidial Version with Build? (IE: You forgot the build!)

Could be memory running out. Could be network ports or sockets running out. Check your system logs at the time of the occurrence.

I have checked everything, memory util is below 50%. Network ports are not running out. Sockets look fine. Logs don't show anything unusual except for asterisk....

I have a few suggestion

1) load balannce your system until you figure out how to fix this issue.

2) Asy our system resources are fine, and still you having this issue post this issue on the Asterisk forum , also post your Asterisk version in order to make sure you re using a supported version

Today I added three more installers and brought down the dialing per server to just 100 per server.

On the main server I made it just 10 ports. and 1CPS. The other 5 dialers are now 100 Ports and 5CPS each.

I am now seeing very high db load even when idle and agents are logged in???

What is happening here?

very high db load

check mysql for long running queries. slow query log.

show processlist will also show "what's running right now" if you run it repeatedly you can see which query is oldest, which usually is blocking other queries.
