Phone alias system putting agens in the same server

Postby dspaan » Mon Mar 11, 2019 9:43 am

I have created a new cluster with 1 web, 1 dbase and 2 dialers for testing.
I have created 3 aliases according to the manual:

201 (contains phones 301 and 401)
202 (contains phones 302 and 402)
203 (contains phones 303 and 403)

These are all webphones. When i login with 3 different users from my browser all three are placed in the same dialer instead of load balanced across two dialers. Am i missing something?

PLLB grouping is disabled in the campaign. Both servers are active asterisk and agent servers and i tested both seprately by using logins 301 and 401.

On the reports page i notice that the dialer agents are not place into doesn't have a SVN version. Could that be it?

Do you have balance dialing enabled for each server?
Admin->Servers-> Choose any-> Balance Dialing->Y

Can you also confirm that phones have been created across both servers for Aliases?
Admin-> phones -> Phone Alias Lists -> Pick each any phone alias, like 202 and confirm that it has an entry for each server.

Yes, balance dialing is enabled for both.

Each of the aliases 201, 202 and 203 point to two extension in the 30x and 40x range which are both on a different dialer.

Go to asterisk CLI for each dialer and input: "sip show peers" and post results here

and are the agents phones actually registered to those? And do they log in to the alias or one of the extensions?

Update: I found the problem. For some reason the second server didn't have vicidial conferences. After creating them it worked fine.

I'm setting up a cluster with webRTC phones again and have this problem again and ran into my own thread LOL!

I just tested by logging in with 4 agents:

-Agent 1 - logs in with phone alias 8001 which has phone logins list 8001a for server1 and 8001b for server2
-Agent 2 - logs in with phone alias 8002 which has phone logins list 8002a for server1 and 8002b for server2
-Agent 3 - logs in with phone alias 8003 which has phone logins list 8003a for server1 and 8003b for server2
-Agent 4 - logs in with phone alias 8004 which has phone logins list 8004a for server1 and 8004b for server2

I have created these phones and alias with the bulk phone insert tool.
After doing that i had to change the webRTC template for each extension on server 2 because these are webphones and you can't specify that in the bulk phone insert tool.

When logging in i'm successfully connected with all 4 accounts and you can see this in asterisk CLI. But you can also see in the realtime main report all agents are logged in on server 1.
Server 2 has no registered sip peers because these are webphones and they don't exist until you login.

I even tried setting the PLLB grouping limit setting in the campaign to CASCADING and limit of 3 but the 4th agent is still placed in the first server.

What could be the issue here?

have you tried only having server2 phone created for one agent to be sure server2 actually CAN load an agent at all? (Perhaps it's not the aliasing system at all).
