I just noticed this in the svn notes:
108. Added new web pages for mobile application
Is it this page: /vicidial/admin_mobile.php ?
I tested it but noticed the page isn't mobile responsive. Is this a work in in progress?

It's designed to be used by our forthcoming Android app
It's not going to be a major new feature, just a little bit of new content that will check a feature box on several of the software comparison website out there.

Yep, it's actually there now in internal testing mode while we work out the bugs, but I have a "VicidialMobile" app on my tablet right now

Awesome, how does that work with open source and an app like that, can the community customize and fork the app?

Android development is a pain, and not that simple. We're not sure yet if we want to release the Android app as open-source by itself. Of course, the app itself doesn't really do much, it's more of a simplified conduit to the mobile web pages on a VICIdial system.

I tried it out.
I would recommend using the new VB-firwall dynamic portal because otherwise if you are on the road how will you access a vicidial server that has port 80/443 closed.
Also i was hoping the reports would have a new slick design with large icons and fancy colors but it's the same old vicidial reports. For instance this one is a nice example of what could be:
https://github.com/fameal/Vicidial-WallboardMaybe we'll develop some reports in the future for this app.

The iOS Vicidial app is in development, slowly, it is a completely different platform that you have to develop on a Mac, so it's taking a while.
