Recording files if outbound or inbound

Postby bghayad » Mon Apr 22, 2019 4:07 pm

Hello;

vicibox 7.0.3, vicidial 2.12-15, Build 160508-0139, asterisk 11.22.0-vici, Single Machine

How can I know if this recorded file is Inbound or Outbound?
Is there a format to name the recording file in a way that mention if it is outbound or inbound?

Regards
Bilal

In-Group Recording Filename -This field will override the Campaign Recording Filenaming Scheme unless it is set to NONE. The allowed variables are CAMPAIGN INGROUP CUSTPHONE FULLDATE TINYDATE EPOCH AGENT VENDORLEADCODE LEADID CALLID RECID. If your dialers have --POST recording processing enabled, you can also use POSTVLC POSTSP POSTARRD3 POSTSTATUS. These POST options will alter the recording file name after the call has been finished and will replace the post variable with the value from the default fields. The default is FULLDATE_AGENT and would look like this 20051020-103108_6666. Another example is CAMPAIGN_TINYDATE_CUSTPHONE which would look like this TESTCAMP_51020103108_3125551212. The resulting filename must be less than 90 characters in length. Default is NONE.

How?
I used In-Group Recording Filename and all the recording calls are now containing the In Group name even if the call is outbound. I am not able to know which calls are outbound.

This setting is on the Ingroup, not a Campaign, and is NOT a "system" setting: thus it will only affect inbound calls of the ingroup so modified.

Explain to me how "outbound" calls contain a nonexistent "ingroup" filename as a result of you making a change to the Ingroup through which these calls did not arrive?

Thank you William.
You are correct 100%.
The mistake that I did not select in the Campaign to do recording and was depending on the Inbound settings and my outbound calls were not recorded and I was confused.
