I'm having problems on a server that is a fresh install of vicibox 8 but the database and recordings were imported from another server (earlier version of asterisk and vicibox).

Symptoms:

Right now we have some calls being recorded but most are not. I don't know why.
The cals so far i've seen not getting recorded are manual dial calls which come from the hopper, so the agent just presses the dial next number.
So far i have not found inbound calls where this happens.
We have not tested with RATIO campaigns, will do that tomorrow.
I could not reproduce this problem myself. What i've seen so far is that out of the 150 calls about only 20 were recorded for each agent.
I've seen recorings of conversations between agents and their colleagues instead of recordings of the call with the client. Bizarre!


Campaign Settings are:
Campaign Rec Filename: FULLDATE_CUSTPHONE_AGENT_LEADID
Dial Method: INBOUND_MAN (this is an sales campaign, most calls are outbound)
Campaign Recording: ALLFORCE
Routing Initiated Recording: N
Campaign Rec exten: 8309
Recording Delay: 0
We are using the SCRIPT_multirecording.php for this campaign through the script tab in an iframe.

User settings are:
Agent Recording: 1
Agent Recording Override: DISABLED

I have checked the recording_log table for one of the leads that did not have a recording but there is nothing to be found there if i search on the leadid or customer phone number.
Also during the calls where this happens there is no recording ID displayed in the agent screen during the call.

I just added Manual-Dial-compatible Routing Initiated Recordings, you must enable setting at the campaign level and have a 0 recording delay. Please upgrade to the newest svn/trunk revision and try it out!

Is routing initiation a more reliable method? Is there a reason i should not enable this on all campaigns? Does it have a disadvantage?

Planned troubleshooting plan:
Tomorrow all agents will dial trough RATIO campaigns except for 1 agent for whom i've turned on agent debugging.

What is the best way to clear all recordings and start fresh? Since a bunch of recordings were imported from a previous server. Would this be sufficient:

Clear /var/spool/asterisk/monitorDONE/MP3 folder
Clear /var/spool/asterisk/monitorDONE/ORIG folder
Remove records in recording_log, recording_log_archive and recording_log_deletion_queue tables?

Did you find your problem on this? And was it related to the settings in admin->Servers?

No i didn't and ended with re-installing the server.
