Set ring while contacting VOIP/carrier

Hi,

Any way or how can we set the ring sound while vici still connecting to carrier/VoIP?

If is a direct call not using the vicidial GUI you can use the r option on the dial command

r( tone ) - Default: Indicate ringing to the calling party, even if the called party isn't actually ringing. Pass no audio to the calling party until the called channel has answered.

If is a manual call through the GUI , this option will work also

Both dial option setting should have the same effect, the other of the r option doesnt matter
