Hello guys,

I am new to the forum. I have worked with Vicidial for 2 years now but i do not know much regarding errors on the servers etc.
I would love to learn more and i will really appreciate your help.

I am using VERSION: 2.14-692a, and is installed on OpenSuse.

I have a message that show on my Server : Set voipblip is full, maxelem 65536 reached.

Does anyone know what is this and how to fix it ?

Excellent job posting your Vicidial Version with build. However: you should also post your Installer with version. FYI.

The later versions of the installer will create a new form of firewall. Some of the "chains" in this new firewall have the ability to auto-add new entries based on activities. But that creates the issue: If your server is not whitelisted, you'll attract a lot of attention. So any blocking automation could result in a large number of entries. Since there is a 65k limit on the entires, that can fill up and refuse to allow more entries.

While this error can be ignored safely, it is an indication that you are drawing attention you may not want. You should consider whitelisting and blocking ping replies.

This is a poor summary. It's not something to worry about ... Today. But it's a warning. You're attracting attention you don't want. If you don't whitelist lockdown your system, you may well get hacked.

You should whitelist lockdown your server. There are instructions for whitelisting using the newer Vicibox firewall. We at PoundTeam, however, use the Dynamic Good Guys firewall. But any method to block ALL access to your server except those who have been approved by IP address (the definition of whitelisting) will suffice.
