HI guys any idea when i loginas agent i can see the mute button its not there

its disabled by default because it makes asterisk unstable.

How to enable it.? i been using this all along just when i installed a new system, but i did not get to see it

There's a new agc/options.php setting you can enable for this:

$ast13_volume_override = '0'; # set to 1 to allow agent to use volume controls even on Asterisk 13 servers


Just change that to '1' and the volume/mute buttons will reappear

Yes, it has been causing frequent Asterisk crashes on some client systems, so we have disabled it by default now.

there is no agc/options.php. instead, i changed the agc/options-example.php >$ast13_volume_override = '0'; # set to 1
however the volume buttons still not appear

please advice if there is something else that may be required.

You have to create a new "options.php" file, or copy the options-example.php file to options.php. This was done so that your options will survive an upgrade.

I have created the options.php and made changes what you have said to change, and reboot the system, but still now option of volume and mute and unmute button. please someone guide me.
