I'm running ViciDial VERSION: 2.14-770a - BUILD: 200922-0924 on a VM.
When the user is set to "Force Change Password" = Y and loading the admin interface with his/her user/password it keeps asking for the credentials if the user level is 1 even if the credentials are correct.
When changing the user to level 2 it passes authentication but error message is shown: "You do not have permission to be here: |theusername|GOOD|"
Trying to higher user levels returns same error.
Changing the user group to "admins" also fails.
Any ideas for me to try?

Why is a User Level 1 user trying to log into the admin screens?
Does the feature work if the agent logs into the agent screen instead?

It's because instructions say agent must login to admin gui to be asked for a new pass.
Force Change Password
If this option is set to Y then the user will be prompted to change their password the next time they log in to the administration webpage. Default is N.
Maybe there's another way for the agent to change it's pass?
When this option enabled, the agent just logs in but is never required to change the pass.

That is how I use it. I set my users permission to level 7, allow them to login to admin to change pw and view their reports only, then i change it back to level 1

If you upgrade to a more recent svn/trunk revision, we did just add the code to allow agents to be able to change their "force change" passwords right in the agent screen.
