recording_log table and voice recordings...

Postby krondorl » Mon Nov 05, 2007 4:58 pm

Hi all,

I installed a complete vicidial setup, which is running pretty good. I just have one question. In the recording_log table, the filename listed in the filename column is NOT what the actual filename is on the hard drive.

filename = 20071105-123938_9549778267

Actual file name on system = 1194284380-Local-78600054@default-d3c2,1-all.wav

Any clue why this is??

Thanks

I would suggest NOT using Asterisk 1.4 with VICIDIAL.

This is a probelm with changing of variable names for callerid in Asterisk 1.4.

Could that also be why vicidial is not registering any dropped calls??

There are all sorts of issues with Asterisk 1.4, but most of them are fixable as far as functionality goes, it's the stability and load issues that are the real problem with the 1.4 tree as it is currently.

If you insist on using Asterisk 1.4 with VICIDIAL, make sure you have 1.4.XX in the asterisk_version field of the servers table.
