Postby dgxa » Thu Mar 04, 2021 7:30 am

Hello, someone has experience creating vicidial in windows azure cloud.

I know that the Vicidial Suggested Hardware is this(for physical machines) , but what differences I need to know to work with vicidial in a cloud(virtualization)machine in azure

● All-In-One Server (Database, Web Server, and Dialer)
 Processor: 2.4 Ghz Quad-Core
 Memory: 4 GB ECC
 Hard Drives: >70 GB SCSI drives in Hardware Raid-1
 Network: 10/100 Ethernet
 CD-Rom: Any (only needed for installation)
● Core Server (Database and Web Server or medium Database-Only)
 Processor: 2.4 Ghz Quad-Core
 Memory: 4 GB ECC
 Hard Drives: 2 * >70 GB 10K rpm class SCSI drives Hardware Raid-1
 Network: 10/100 Ethernet
 CD-Rom: Any (only needed for installation)
● Larger Database Server
 Processor: 2 * > 2.0 Ghz Quad-Core
 Memory: 16 GB ECC
 Hard Drives: 4 * >70 GB 15K rpm SCSI drives Caching Hardware Raid-10 for higher
load
 Network: 10/100 Ethernet
 CD-Rom: Any (only needed for installation)
● Dialer Server or Web server
 Processor: 2+ Ghz Dual-Core
 Memory: 4 GB ECC
 Hard Drive: >70 GB Raid-1

the larger database server seems good depending how many agents you are going to be dialing with

Web panel, asterisk and DB separated.

The plan change recently in the past days and the amount high to 450 agents. Three cluster of 150 agents is the initial idea.

Can vicidial support one cluster with 450 agents with a strong database with replication HA in one mariaDB Galera cluster?

yes but you would need additional telephony servers and either a considerably stronger web server build or even 2 web servers to support that many agents, especially if you plan to use webrtc....

I will install a cluster before to start the work of 450 agent. I can probe webrtc in these.

I found information about webrtc in this links.

My installation is in Centos 7 || Asterisk 13.21.0-vici || VERSION: 2.14-772a BUILD: 201004-1045
