TILTX setup issue

Postby dreedy » Thu Jul 15, 2021 10:24 am

I have been working with TILTX to get the carrier setup and running.

The outbound calls are going just fine but i wanted to make sure of the container setting as it is not written any ware. what is the "Container Type" i took a guess and made is an AGI type.

also when i make outbound calls i am still able to call disconnected numbers. and the call does not dispo as ADDCAR. do i need to change some setting somewhere?

I sorry it has been a very frustrating process to make the carrier work. the documentation has not been very helpful in getting the process completed.

Why does it seem like some calls are going into different locations in the database?

vicidial_tlltx_shaken_log
vicidial_urls (which by the way is pretty hard to see the information cause it is not separated)

For reference, the TILTX instructions are posted here:
http://vicidial.org/docs/TILTX_SHAKEN_API.txt

As for the container entry, the instructions say "place only the TILTX API key into the Container Entry", so you should place only the TILTX API key into the Container Entry, nothing else. The Container Type doesn't matter, so I will make sure to add that to the instructions. It's hard to show any example which is only a key, without showing an actual key, which is why we didn't show an example in the documentation, since it clearly states "place only the TILTX API key into the Container Entry".

As for TILTX's disconnected number service, do you subscribe to that service with TILTX?(you have to request it, and pay extra for it) If not, it won't do anything, and if you do subscribe to that service, it does not guarantee that you won't ever get disconnected numbers, they have said it is about 90-95% accurate.

As for "Why does it seem like some calls are going into different locations in the database?" I really don't know what you mean here. You list two database tables but don't describe exactly what the issue is in any detail.

The "vicidial_tiltx_shaken_log" table stores the results received from the TILTX API requests, while the "vicidial_urls" table is actually linked to the "vicidial_url_log" table, and it's contents are designed to be viewed in the "Reports -> Admin Utilities -> URL Log Report" report page.

The only time that the call seems to record in the the vicidial_tlltx_shaken_log for me is when i call the disconnected example that is on there website. It stores it in a nice readable format.

dbtime server_ip url_log_id caller code phone number CIDnumber CallerIDTOUse isDNC IsDisconnected TILTXID Identity CAID
2021-07-14 12:06:11 192.168.7.121 68 M7141206110000119843 12025551212 0 1

All the calls that are mode normally get stored in the other log table.

vicidial_urls_log

and the 2 columns that store everything are a mess to read. It is just one clump of text.
