whats the hardware specs for the server? how many agents on it? are you using AMD as well as the recording? and whats the ratio set at? how many lines are you calling out on when it happens? My guess is its due to server load too high for the server to handle everything. Perhaps add another system and form a cluster to separate the web server from the db, you can put the dialer on either or, or both and load balance the calls
