Regarding Server Requirement

Hello Team,

We are going to plan with 100 agents on the vicibox.

I would like to know the best solution for the server configuration.
So is this good to go with Standalone server or Cluster Server?

If Standalone then kindly please let me know what hardware configuration is need?
Or if go with Cluster then also let me know the what hardware and how many servers needed?

What kind of call handling will you be doing? (inbound, outbound-manual, outbound-autodial)

What will be your maximum line-to-agent ratio?

1. Mostly we are going to dial 500+ calls with outbound-manual, outbound-autodial.
2. Dial Level should be 10 to 12 maximum.

You will definitely need a cluster.

I would recommend:
1 dedicated database server
1 dedicated web server
5-10 dialers

The database server should be a dual-quad-core CPU with 16+GB RAM and a fast drive system(preferably SSD drives in a RAID 10 on a MegaRAID card)
The webserver and dialers can be single-quad-code CPUs with 8GB RAM and standard drives

As I understand we need 2 dedicated server and 5 to 10 Cloud Instance.

DO you have any suggestions where we can got the best servers?

We don't recommend using VM's(virtual machines) at all for VICIdial use, only bare metal.

In general, we were not very satisfied with any of the hosted cloud services out there, which is why we created out own: https://www.vicihost.com/
