Re: Failed Call

What you posted does not show a failed phone call, but likely shows an agent login, where the vicidial server calls the agent's phone during login.

If you are having problems getting a Vicidial server online, and don't want to lease or purchase a server, here are the slow but steady steps to a functional server:

1) Vicibox.com's website has an .iso image installer and the PDF with instructions on how to perform the install. Both free. Follow the PDF instructions until the Vicidial system is installed.

2) Once the installation is completed, switch to the Vicidial Manager's Manual available at EFLO.net (both free and paid versions available). Start at page one of the Manager's Manual and DO NOT skip any steps. Seriously: Even the stuff you don't think you need, do it anyway. Consider it a cheap alternative to the expense of purchasing a commercial dialer system which is likely to cost $50k minimum. One step at a time. The first "bump" you get of something not working, bring the Manual Version, Page Number, Line Number and place it in a post here along with what you expected to happen and what really happened. If you don't post the relevant configuration settings, someone will quiz you to get them. If you think you screwed up, start over. Free. Nobody will know. 8-)

Eventually you'll have a system you've installed a few times, and as a result you'll be very comfortable with the installation process in addition to being fairly adept at configuration from all that practice.
