ADMIN CHANGE LOG (Section Records)

Hi, I recently made a physical change to my web balancer server in my cluster, since that change I realized that I can't see the admin logs, any ideas?

1) Welcome to the Party!

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method (7.X.X?) and vicidial version with build (VERSION: 2.X-XXXx ... BUILD: #####-####).

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "manual/from scratch" you must post your operating system with version (and the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system) plus a link to the installation instructions you used. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

3) "the admin logs" ... would you care to be a wee bit more specific? Do you refer to the link at the bottom of many modules that says "click here to see ..." or some of the log entries in Admin Utilities or something more vague like phpMyAdmin's log table views?

LOL: I never assume such things. You'd be surprised how often an end user will toss out a phrase and the Tech will assume they mean what this thing that was technically pretty close (but not identical) to what the user said .. only to find out 20 posts (or two hours) later that the whole thing started out with a misunderstanding due to "lingo".

And THAT would be why I am ordinarily not pleased with techs that try to pull customers off the Vicidial forum. There's a full-on "fake vicidial forum" out there. Lots of IM channels. And none of those come up in searches so all the questions and answers are One Use Only. The entire purpose of this forum is to broadcast all the help to the widest audience so anyone else who asks the same question can get the same answer without having a discussion with someone who has the "secret sauce". lol.

But that's me. Go back and read some of the battles I had with GoAutoDial way-back-when.

Nothing personal. I just think keeping the Free Stuff on here where Everyone Can See It (and all in one place) is the best repository of "holy crap, I just spent 16 hours pulling hair, and the answer was right here in this post" available.

That's why I come on here routinely and answer questions (and also because I learn stuff here all the time, keeps me up to date).

there questions are usually posted here first and there answers as well once found, its something ive always encouraged, alot of the discussions that go on there are questions outside of the vicidial scope which they help each other with
