HI!
My agents reported me that there is no ring when dialing manually. The calls reach the endpoint (i know this because the calls are taken ) but while dialing there is nothing to indicate the call is ringing.
Is it a configuration problem? Or is it my VSP that is making me a bad joke?

We started having that problem a couple weeks ago, I researched it both on this forum and google, most resources claimed it had to do with the provider, but it's hard to tell as it seemed to clear up on it's own,
- who do you use for your provider? try and set up a account with Flo Route, or Aretta, they offer a few minutes for free to demo their quality.

Thanks for the answer. as i said it in my last post, i switched to another VSP and still i've got the same problem (it is even worst now as manual dialing does not work anymore).
When agents dial:
1=> they do not have ringing tone
2=> The calls seems to get lost as nobody answer
3=> Some agents get "LIVE CALL" blinking in their interface but no one seems to be on the other side of the line.
Any suggestion is welcome
Thanks for your help

Yes, i've just set my dial application to
Dial(SIP/sip-voicetrading/${EXTEN},,Tor)
Now the calls are taken by the end point but there is still no ring tone. Something strange is i never had to put the "r" option before and it has worked well since this week
Regards

STEPS to Dial Manually :
Agent Login to the Dialer.
Click on Manual Link
Enter 10 digit Phone Number.
Click on DIAL NOW.
Agent will hear a Beep sound and then a Silence.
When Customer Picks up , Agent can see the LIVE CALL GREEN on their CRM.
Agent speaks to the Customer and then Hang up and Dispose the Call.
GoAutoDial CE
VERSION: 2.4-309a
BUILD: 110430-1642
No other software installed on the box.
I've read the manager manual.

I had the same problem, check if the /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/ringring.gsm and .wav files exist
