Dead Air calls, like around 40% or more

I know this might be a setting issue

I also contacted my VOIP provider, they say everything is good on their end and they are not trying any funny stuff , i would like to see if maybe, MAYBE, it is not the voip provider (ie, the provider is Airespring.

But anyone, just way to many dead air calls. Some info below.

First step, try a different provider, especially since I see you are using AIRESPRING.

Second step, bombard Airespring with examples of dead air calls.

Third step, try a different provider, and let Airespring know that you are trying a different provider.

This looks like FAS(False Answer Supervision), it is illegal for carriers to do, but they do it anyway because it is difficult to prove. I even did a presentation on it at Astricon last year,

We have run into this with some providers recently, it is a carrier issue, and some aggregators like Airespring use downstream providers that will send out dead air answers for a portion of their terminated calls.

A good first carrier to try is Vitelity/Voyant. I'd also suggest contacting several other carriers to see if they will take your auto-dialer traffic.

Dead air has been around for ages over dialer products. The problem may be in your traffic type. Answer the following quick questions.
Are you using 8369?
Do you use multiple caller ids? Are they spoofed or are you good folk out there using valid and reachable caller ids.
What's your ACD look like?
Are you using Vici 9.0?

AireSpring downstream vendors for SD aren't great although they push traffic to ATT, VZ. Nobody likes 8369 sorta traffic (High SDP). If you're using a static CID, it's probably being blocked if it's reputation is bad and we do too. People tend not to answer or reply once they hear the calls too should they hear Vicidial Conference tone they hear on connecting with agent.

One possibility is to get your CIDs, with good reputation and extend your calls and ultimately it would help go to better carrier's who would like to take your traffic and not block it. This usually results in better connectivity and far less dead air. You can try us by sending me in a PM since we're terminating to most tier1s.

I can see you all are struggling and flooded with FAS

Let me tell you, AIRESPRING, they have the copyrights of have invented FAS, lol....

Now, seriously talking, We are a carrier using Stir Shaken Technology, give us a try and you will see results for yourself, in order to get best quality and NO FAS, you will need:

- Good Caller IDs ( Either get ours for Token A or bring yours for Token B )
- Use Rotation of caller IDs to not get them flagged so fast
- Remove DNC numbers from your list ( we can do it for free, this will burn DIDs faster )
- And we can guide you thru a process of what we have seen worked and help other customers to increase ASR
