How to reset recording counter

Postby rdipen » Wed May 10, 2023 11:55 am

Good day everyone,

We are using:
ViciBox V.10.0.0 210901
VICIDial version: 2.14b0.5
Asterisk #: 13.38.2
SVN: 3693
On physical computer Dell precision T1650 Intel i5, 16G RAM, 2 TB HDD

Problem:
I am trying to record a greetings for a campaign by dialing 8168 > password> pressing 1 to save that greeting > at the last it gives me a number that starts with 170200XXX I was hoping if there is a way to reset counter for those recordings to 85100xxxx... Now I have tried using " mysql -u cron -p1234 asterisk -e "update system_settings set rec_prompt_count='85100xxx" suggested by someone in one of the eflo forum and when I check that on VICI ADMIN> Sytem setting it does say 85100xxx but for some reason I might have changed wrong counter as that didn't work with the problem that I have.

Check this out in detail view of campaign, it's how you set the recorded file name

Thank you for reverting back but it says " This feature on works if I allow campaign Recording Policy needs to be "ON DEMAND" or "ALLCALLS".. We have it set to use NEVER also even if we make it ALLCALLS wouldn't I have to change Campaign Recording format every time I create new campaign?
Please forgive me for stupid question :)

This isn't about campaign call recording, it's about inserting a recording into the audio store. It should by default be recording as 851XXXXXXXX, but it is not -- where can I correct this on a server level? Any idea @carpenox

The system_settings.rec_prompt_count should control that. You can edit it manually with the MySQL CLI client.

When you use the feature, what does the Asterisk CLI output look like(set the Server's AGI Output to BOTH first)?

Admin -> Servers -> Click on the server you are dialing into -> find the AGI Output option and set it to BOTH. See https://i.imgur.com/QH9xCP1.png

I still couldn't figure out have you got a chance to look at the logs that I sent?

[Update] When I manually update the rec_prompt_count value in the system_settings table through a SQL query, it is just temporarily reflecting the new value. However, once I record a message, VICIDIAL recalculates the prompt count and updates it accordingly, overriding the value that I set manually.

The AGI output is still not included in the output you shared, and I did test this on two separate systems and could not replicate the issue.
