Newbie here, would love a second look at server spec!

I'm installing a VICIbox server with a Dinstar GSM gateway. This center would serve 25 agents with predictive dialing at a ratio of 3 calls : 1 agent. I landed on a Quad core CPU with 2.0+CHz 16GB RAM 500GB storage with RAID-1.

Is this a good and resilient configuration ?

Dinstar with how many channels available? 32 total channels for instance will be well within the capacity of Vicidial on a 4 core system at 2Ghz with 16G RAM.

But you'll never get 3:1 dialing since you wouldn't have 75 channels in that case.

Also be warned about predictive unless all 25 of those agents are on the same campaign.

Currently it's 32 channels, there are plans to scale after 6 months if we need to increase ratio.
Ofc, we're going to start with 1:1 and might increase to 3:1 (at max).
Yeah they'll be on the same campaign, but out of curiosity, why the precaution ?

Precaution regarding ... predictive? Because if you're dialing in predictive mode (using one of the adapt dial methods along with availableonlytally N) and have less than 10 live agents in the campaign, you'll be 1:1 dialing pretty much forever which defeats the predictive concept. More than 25 agents is best for predictive mode.
