STILL SHOWING LEADS

Good day,

I already disabled all leads in the campaign, but when I tried to login as an agent, I still have dialable leads which is not allocated for me. All of the agents have same leads which is not allocated for them. I am using a manual dialing, so we have an ownership of accounts.

What should I do? Need help with this.

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method (11.X.X?) and vicidial version with build (VERSION: 2.X-XXXx ... BUILD: #####-####).

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "manual/from scratch" you must post your operating system with version (and the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system) plus a link to the installation instructions you used. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (EG: vSphere Version 6.X.X). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

6) It may be useful to know why you upgraded the system. From experience, this discussion is often enlightening. 8-)

7) Describe your process for "disabled all leads in the campaign".

I already reinstalled it by using the version 11 of vicidial. And then I started fron scratch again.

Cool. You posted the versions from several machines. If these are each a standalone vicidial server and are not presenting problems, I'll just warn you now that more than 4 agents per server may be problematic. Note that in a shared processor system, other servers can use up your CPU time and cause Vicidial to misfire even if you keep your usage steady. That being said:

Each of those servers (if running properly) is fine.

But you did not answer any of the questions that follow, which were directly addressing your original issue.

I already reinstalled it by using the version 11 of vicidial. And then I started fron scratch again.


Vicidial (the call center software suite) does not have a "version 11". ViciBOX (the installer) is presently at 11.0.1 if I recall. But Vicibox (any version) CAN install any versionof ViciDIAL.

Knowing the "installer version" is useful because it implies the version of the OS, asterisk and other packages. But any version of Vicidial can be installed with (or upgraded/downgraded to) with any version of the installer.

Which is why it's good that you listed the installer AND vicidial version on all those servers.

But the questions you didn't answer would be good to answer now. And perhaps specify which of the servers in your list is the one in which you are presently experiencing this issue. I'd like to assume that it's the one with Vicibox 11.0.1 as the installer, but I'm not great at "assuming", it tends to cause problems. 8-)

Actually I am using 1 CPU for these machines. So far, I haven't experience any problems yet, hope not..

I encountered an issue, but I fixed it by refreshing it.

I only ticked the yes and no box.

Now I know that Vicidial is different from Vicibox. Where can I get or how to know what Vicidial version I have?

I have 5 gsm gateways. Each of them needed for a specific campaign due to a data privacy law here in the Philippines. So that is why I have 6 Vicibox installed in a VMWare. Now I am worrying because you said it could cause a problem. Would it be possible to use 1 Vicibox with 5 gsm gateways?

Please describe "refreshing it". And what the error was in the first place.
I know this sounds nitpicky. This is a technical support forum. I prefer to avoid vague non-technical responses and convert them as closely as possible to code or copy/pasted text from screens. I can't count the number of times this line of questioning has resulted in a "simple error" that would otherwise be overlooked OR may have already resulted in several days of hair-pulling. So I'm not trying to be an asshole: Just trying to drill down to whatever the real problem is. Book completed. 8-)

Absolutely. But if your existing system are working smoothly, I'll refer you to "If it ain't broke ... don't fix it".

That being said: Any pathway to make outbound or accept inbound calls to/from Vicidial should be in your "carriers" section of the Admin menu. Choosing a Carrier is generally through the Dial Prefix (of the Campaign). For instance: "Dial prefix: 9" might be your primary outbound carrier, but that still leaves 8,7,6 ... etc. The dialplan associated with each Carrier is linked to the SIP account (or IAX2 account, or any other outbound dial path) in the carrier settings. Thus you can use an unlimited number of GSM gateway, VOIP Carriers, Digium, Sangoma equipment and/or services all at the same time just by using a specific "dial prefix" for each campaign or call.

You need to run this line: mysql -p -f --database=asterisk < /usr/src/astguiclient/trunk/extras/upgrade_2.14.sql

And what the error was in the first place.

So you did NOT NEED to upgrade? You just felt like upgrading?


When to know if you need to upgrade? AFAIK, if there is an available upgrade, you must. Because the upgrade fixed the recent version or added a feature or else it will not be called an "upgrade".

If I deleted the recent installation, can I still do the CLI history? As I have said to my post, I reinstalled it.

1 vCPU is crazy to try and run asterisk/vici on. The software is free, why are you using cheap VPS servers and not using the recommended bare metal servers?

Our clients required us that the server needs to be on prem...

Vicidial will run on pretty much any hardware. New or used. Runs well on 15 year old servers (which are inexpensive) but also runs well on cheap walmart desktops.

I said "Vicidial" not "Virtual".

Virtual with vicidial always cuts the capacity of the machine's hardware dramatically. So it's only useful when you do not need the full capacity of the hardware and are limited in purchasing of hardware.

I'd prefer to run 15 desktop units each with its own Hardware Vicidial than one expensive rackmount that has 15 virtual machines in it.

But my experience is unique: Running the colocation facility for 15 yrs will do that. LOL

We use Virtual Vicidial for two thinigs only:
* Customers who really only have one or two agents
* Sandbox/Development server for testing

Of course we use Virtual for everything else quite routinely. It's just Vicidial that has this problem of not liking virtual. 8-)

agreed, its also fairly good with web servers, archive servers, cold storage as well
