Not within VICIDIAL using the client.

You can do a transfer to their phone, but it will not show the customer data on the screen with the transfer.

There are currently too many issues with agent-specific transfers to allow for them until we figure out a way to deal with all of those issues.

There should be no issues with the transferred agent hanging up the call since their phone call will not be in a meetme room.

if you are using a softphone it is quite easy to do it.

Here's how:

Press line 2

Dial the extension

Press the conference button (conf)

then hang up :)

Except if you do that you are out of the VICIDIAL session and have to log back in again if you were transferring while on a VICIDIAL call.

I've never used closers for vicidial (our application doesn't require it) ... but would they work for this situation?

Why not just add another ingroup config into extensions.conf as a local extension and transfer back to that local extension? The only issue I could potentially see at that point is the possibility of being re-connected to the same person, but only in the event of a blind transfer...

I've not tested this before however it seems plausible..
