ASTVDauto not working

Postby drycell95 » Wed Jan 16, 2008 3:32 pm

Hi,
Please help me, when the asterisk server starts up astvdauto is listed using screen -r, but when the agents started to make calls it stops working.

-Predictive dialer is not working
-auto calls do not automatically hangup, even after the dial timeout

Just tell what logfiles i need to post

Server Specs:
Kernel 2.6.18-4-686
3GB Ram
Quad core Xeon 3ghz
Asterisk 1.2.14
Vicidial 2.0.73

-Screen Output during calls:
There are several suitable screens on:
3895.ASTVDremote (Detached)
3889.ASTlisten (Detached)
3836.asterisk (Detached)
3886.ASTsend (Detached)
3901.ASTfastlog (Detached)
3898.ASTVDadapt (Detached)
3883.ASTupdate (Detached)
Type "screen [-d] -r [pid.]tty.host" to resume one of them.

Okay thats confusing "predictive dialer doesnt dial" yet "autodial calls dont hangup after timeout" which one is it?

When your agent login and select resume are you saying ASTVDauto isnt running at that point? Please provide additional details.

sorry about that, what i mean is predictive dialer will not work because the auto dials made doesnt hang up, which leaves no room for new auto calls. this is probably caused by astvdauto, which is not running

heres what i noticed, the first time they dial predictive, it works fine, but if nobody answers the auto call, it will not hang up
