Predictive dialing and transfer to agent...

Hi all, after a lot of work i've made up a trixbox 2.4 server with asterisk 1.4 working with vicidial 2.0.4.
for correctly working of vicidial i've modified FreePBX_engine file on starting asterisk at boot.
this feature permit vicidial work correctly but don't let trixbox web pages access correctly to asterisk because trixbox need to run * with his user "asterisk" . The perl script that let vicidial work runs asterisk as root but if asterisk doesn't start as root, vicidial work partially and in predictive use it doesn't transfer calls to my agents.
Can someone tell me how to run asterisk as non root user and made vicidial works correctly?

a quick fix in ur case would be to run apache as root then freepbx wont give problems ( security issues involved ).
