I am sure you will find most, if not all, the answers by searching the forums and buying the Manager's Manual.

Use at least a dual core with 2gb of ram or 3 gb.

remember that vicidial is a load intensive application. the above recommendation is good enough for at least 10 agents.

well that setup is good for 10 seats for now. but if you're expanding try to invest on core2duo computers.

Hi

its all depends

how the provider do service to you

what country you are located

if you are using DSL with public IP
using codec g729 at provider side
10 seats you can easily go with that bandwidth

for good quality services recomended for dedicated services

>>> How in sense ?

depends on the service level, the DSL Service provider define
most of the DSL are shared. other than some bussiness DSL connections.

what country you are located
>>> India

if you are india, iam not sure what you subscribe, and what you get.

you need to keep monitor the connection,when you feel you are using Full
of DSL you need get another one.

if you are using DSL with public IP using codec g729 at provider side
>>> Provider Side ??

SIP peer provider

i recomend you to read some basic document related

VoIP
SIP
DSL
Predictive Dialer
Asterisk

before you get in to use Vicidial

They give us Public 10 IPs with 1 MbPS Connections.

Currently we have 256Kbps and we check the downlaod speed and its around 32-36 kbps.

Our VOIP Minutes provider uses G729 Codec. We are currently using Eyebeam to dial out.
